Teekshana Danshtra Kaala Bhairavaashtakam-Final

Friends at last I am posting the Devanagari and Telugu script of this Ashtakam. I was able to find the entire text.

But

  • There is one missing word in the last- that is in Phala Shruti. But still one can recite the main part for daily recital leaving out the Phala Shruti
  • The Sankrit (Devanagari) script I tried my best to type it out as correct as possible, But I am confused as to where I should use the Bundu (.) and where म्,
  • Please,  if any one knows Sanskrit, kindly go through the Devanagari script and tell me the corrections.
  • If any one can give me the missing word, I will correct the Ashtakam

Here is Sanskrit Version:

Telugu Version:

Since tomorrow is Shiva Ratri we can start reciting this from tomorrow.

I am sorry I cannot post the translation of this as, I don't have the translation of this,  this is in Sanskrit and really difficult to translate exactly. I can understand the meaning in general
but posting word to word translation is difficult and I don't want to misguide any one. People who know Telugu or any South Indian language can easily follow the meaning on the whole. But if I can get the translation, i will certainly post it.

I also don't have the source or author of this. If any one can kindly provide me the details, I will post them here for all to know. I tried my level best in finding this information, but could not.

I am sorry, I took so long to post this as I had to painstakingly search from various books and typing was also very difficult.

UPDATE 19-2-2015:

I have posted the versions in Sanskrit and Telugu scripts. Please down load them or print them from the link given.

Many of you have requested me to send them to your emails. I am sorry, I cannot send them through mail since I have received so many requests. I hope you will understand.

If there are any problems in downloading or printing, please mail me or leave a comment on my blog.

If any one can send me this in Tamil script, I will post it here. Many of my visitors are requesting me for Tamil version. But I don't know how to write or read Tamil.

UPDATE-22-3-2015:   Final Update

Now, I have corrected the Ashtakam and provided with the missing word  in page 2

Page 1 has no corrections.

So I have uploaded page-2 of Sanskrit and Telugu Ashtakam. Those who have already downloaded can just correct the missing word as follows:

Missing word is:     नियतं    (Sanskrit)  and  నియతం (Telugu)
I regret for the inconvenience caused to you since I took so long to post this Ashtakam. With great difficulty and by God's grace, I could trace the entire text. This is a very rare Ashtakam and I had difficulty in tracing out the entire text. Now that I have posted the entire text, hope you all can benefit from it.

Teekshna Danshtra Kaala Bhairavaashtakam -A request

I have searched and found most of this stotra. But still there are some missing words.  This stotra is very rare and not sound so easily. What ever few books have printed it have not given the entire text. I found only one with entire text but since it is an old book and damaged, some words are missing. I am trying my best to locate the books containing that stotra. My sincere wish is to post the entire stotra so that who ever recite it benefit from it.

Does any one know who has written it or in which Sanskrit Text  it is available? If some one knows please mail me.

I have a request to make to you all. Who ever is reading this post if you have the  Teekshna Danshtra Kaala Bhairavaashtakam or Maha Kaala Bhairavaashtakam in sanskrit version, can you please send me a copy preferably in Word or any document  that can be edited (Not Pdf please) through mail so that I can edit it, add the missing text and post here.

The ones in Pdf are not opening properly (font problem)so that I can edit it. There are so many fons in Devanagari and it is difficult to convert a pdf into editable copy.

I am finding it very difficult to type in Devanagari script and also difficult to find any errors or mistakes in the words in Sanskrit.

Can someone help me with proof read of the Stotra in Sanskrit please?

I am sorry for so much delay.

A Visit to Shirdi wale Sai Baba

I was in Mumbai last month for an office conference. I was swamped at work the entire week, but I had some time off on the weekend and a friend of mine suggested that I take a trip to Shirdi. When it comes to travelling I am always ready. So, I chalked out a schedule and switched on my computer to book my bus tickets to ShirdiOnline bus ticket bookings are the easiest thing I have come across, where your pass to travel, is just a click away.  I booked my ticket from “My Bus Tickets” and luckily I found a window seat.

I was leaving on a Friday evening and it so happened, that Narendra Modi had a rally that evening too. Mumbai traffic becomes nerve wracking as it is, and with the rally in full swing, it was nothing short of mayhem. I finally reached my pick up point for the bus and was all set to visit Shirdi. It takes about four and a half hours to reach Shirdi from Mumbai and it was a pleasant ride because of the magnificent sights through the Konkan region. Shirdi is not just about the Sai Baba temple but about the city itself. The sombreness of the place is its biggest attraction.

A cup of coffee at sunrise, in my room, overlooking the sea made the trip all the more worthwhile My exploration started with two local beaches in town, followed by the sacred Sai Baba temple. I also payed my respects at Baba Chavadi, Dwarkamai Musjid, Khandoba Mandir and other small temples in and around the city. During all of this, what caught my attention was a beautiful little museum called Dixit Wada, located within the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Comp which houses the belongings used by Sai Baba during his lifetime. Apart from the city’s sacred spirit, the biggest plus point about Shirdi is its authentic Marathi cuisine. With all the local flavours, my taste buds just went on a joyride.
This is Khandoba Temple
This is the Shirdi Sai  Baba Temple
This is the beautiful Shirdi beach.

All I can say is that my trip was worth every penny. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated with the austerity of the place, the vintage Marathi cuisine and the sheer magnificence of the city. Shirdi truly cleanses ones soul with all its purity.

Pearls Of Wisdom-8

Who wins in the end depends upon our will power, belief in God and ourselves and how ardently we pray and convince God.

Pearls Of Wisdom - 7

Yes this quote gives us very simple and practical solution on how to lead a happy life. Forgiving and forgetting is the way to a happy life.

It is not easy. But if we just cling to any wrongs done to us by others and keep on thinking about them, it will only affect us. We build hatred towards those who have done such a thing. As we keep on dwelling, reminding ourselves about the past, the hatred will grow into a vengeful attitude. May be one day we may take revenge. But all this will make us frustrated, obsessed, stressed out. Ultimately these feelings create tension and unhappiness. It is also a waste of time. We can use this time of hating others for our progress, peace and happiness.

Instead if we forget and forgive, there ends the matter. We will lead a happy life and march forward. That is why all the religions stress on Forgiving and Forgetting.

Pearls Of Wisdom-6

This is one of my favorites. When ever I feel demotivated or depressed, I read this quote several times. At such times, we should think of our previous achievements and motivate ourselves, thinking that when we could achieve that, we can achieve this too. Every one has achieved something, despite, difficulties and difficult circumstances or limitations. So we should remember all those things.

Moreover, we should also have confidence in ourselves, that we can achieve anything that we set our mind on. We should have faith in God as well as our efforts in achieving many things.

Pearls Of Wisdom-5

This is a beautiful quote. In few words it gives us how to live our life so that we will be content and happy.

Surrendering to what is means, living and enjoying the present. After all the present or the now is what we have in hand. If we don't live and enjoy the present, in no time it will be past.

Let go of what was-means past is past. We have to forget, forgive all that made us unhappy or sad and march on. If not we will also loose our present with out enjoying it.

Have faith in what will be means hope-hoping for a better future. With out hope there is no tomorrow. Those who believe in God can have faith in Him and that He will always provide us with the best.

In short the best way to live is, let bygones be bygones, live and enjoy the present and hope for a better future. This way we can lead a very happy and content life.

A small message conveying a strong and useful message. Don't you think so?

Pearls Of Wisdom-4

Yes God has something for us always. So pray to God, He will guide us on the right path...

7/26/13

Pearls Of Wisdom-3

This is a very lovely quote I received as a good morning message some time back. It is true many a time we do or say some thing without thinking. This creates lots of troubles for us.

When we act without thinking out all the pros and cons of a situation, our actions and the results thereof, we may not only waste our efforts, time or money/resources but also will not get the expected results. It may also land us in troubles.

On the other hand there are times when we keep on thinking and thinking without acting. Though it is a good idea to think things over thoroughly before acting or doing something, if we take too much time for thinking and do not act at all or act very late, then there is no use.

So one should achieve a balance between these two things- by thinking before acting and putting our plans into action  in time after we think about them thoroughly.

What do you say?
